| Mon Petit Chou Rouge
died suddenly on November 18, 2008 at the tender age of only 21
months. The vet said she had never heard of such a thing
happening and opined that Petit died of a congenital problem with
her spine. These are the last pictures we have of her, taken
the day after Skip's 70th birthday party and two days after the dogs
had been professionally groomed. (These pictures are also
available on the party page.) Within a month we had found, adopted, and brought home Diva Diable d'Argent, not as a replacement for Petit, but as companion for Mouton, who was (also) devastated by the loss of Petit and was extremely lonely and needy. |
